Dear Mr. President,
First off sir, I am not a person who spends much time on political subjects, I am just a small business owner who is working to succeed at what I know how to do in life.
There is something going on that you need to be aware of, and I believe that it is of the utmost importance that it be addressed quickly. Our very substance as a nation is at stake.
There is a man going around that thinks the federal government has the legal standing to take over publicly held corporations and dictate who will manage them. He also believes that it is constitutionally correct for the federal government to purchase large holdings in banking companies. This irrational fellow also believes that it is the right of the federal government to take on the role of a national competitive single payer insurance company and has thought so since the beginning of his career. All this is happening in a time when we as a nation are broke and cannot even pay our annual expenses and have to borrow to pay current expenditures.
When I read my copy of the constitution I do not find any provisions for the government to do any of these things.
Now the devious part, this man has used all forms of press, internet and television to promote his silly ideas, and has found a way to get a government jet to fly him around the country to promote these blatantly socialistic policies.
I know that in America; the land if individual freedom, where we were raised up to stand on our own two feet and not be kept, but to be the guardians of liberty and self reliance that we would not seriously listen to someone like this, but he has made some progress and I pray that you Mr. President would join me and all our neighbors and friends in the fight to combat this attack on the very nature of this country’s founding.
You sir hold the highest office in the land and have pledged to protect and defend our constitution. As an employee of the people I thought that you would want to know about this so you can get right to the bottom of things before this gets out of hand.
